Solar Cooling - Air Conditioning From the Sun

At first glance, solar cooling looks like a oxymoron. However, the same energy that can provide heat in winter, it can also cool in summer.

Several developed and passive cooling systems have been tested. In its simplest form, are based on a refrigerant absorbs the heat and the front door. This might be a pool of water on the roof, which absorbs seat from inside the house as it evaporates exposure to the sun.

More sophisticated passiveSolar cooling systems have a solar collector, which is during the day under the shadow. A storage medium collects heat during the day and disperses into the night by exposing the solar collector to the cool night air.

Because the solar collectors must be shaded, a retractable awning or overhang extension be installed. Since the system will be reversed in the winter months, it is important that the solar panels to be exposed to the sun, if necessary.

Solar panels can also be usedoperate traditional air conditioners. How come the times of intense heat correspond to times of peak electricity production from photovoltaic cells. Until solar panels, which are sufficient to generate electricity, you can operate without air conditioning costs.

Solar cooling that does not use high-tech is another option. The Romans used a system of running water to cool the external walls of their homes. The warmth of the sunevaporate the water and can conduct heat into the house. This type of system can be used on walls or roofs.

Heating and cooling are two of the biggest expenses for most households. Solar energy to reduce these costs, financial and environmental sense. That we are less dependent on fossil fuels for heating and cooling for a cleaner environment.

Lol. I wonder what's the process will be going on. From the sun's heat until it cools us down. Anyways, anything is possible through science nowadays so I'll just enjoy my Split System Air Con here in my room. Just keep it up.
